By Brian Jameson

To address current nursing shortage, law makers, health care associations, nursing schools and universities agreed that we should protect the right of nurses to advocate on their patient's behalf, set minimum ratio of nurse to patient in hospitals and invest on nurse's trainings and programs. These are the factors that contribute quality health care services. It would seem useless to every American to enjoy health care benefits without high-quality of health care work force to provide it.

There is a legislation that is currently reviewed by lawmakers right now. It emphasizes on establishing nurse to patient ratio that will save lives and improve the quality of patient care. It also encourages young individuals to enter and pursue a nursing career and registered nurses to stay in the workforce, thus, resolving the crisis on nursing shortage. Included in this bill too is the protection of nurses to protect their right to advocate for the safety of their patients that will create better quality patient care.

As much as they want to improve and cope up with the increasing demand of patient care, they cannot do anything because of massive nursing shortage. There are a lot of nursing vacancies on health care sectors. Incoming nurses however, are fewer in number and is definitely not suffice to fill-in these thousands of nursing vacancies.

Health care sectors resorted to nursing agencies for temporarily filling-up their need of nurses. Nursing agencies on the other hand, recruited foreign nurses with high standard qualifications. They must go through a lot of proficiency tests aside from the nursing board exams (NCLEX). They are chosen among the best and very much qualified to render patient care.

Hospitals, clinics and nursing homes resorted to nursing agencies in filling-in their nursing vacancies. These nurses are recruited from all over the nation. They have gone through strict qualifications and must really expert on their areas of practice. This is one way of easing nursing shortage. By starting a nursing agency, you will be filling-in the needs of health care sectors for nurses. Entrepreneurs and health care professionals find a lucrative and helpful business through starting a nursing agency. You can help the world become a better place and yet you can also make a very good living from starting a nursing agency. It's definitely a good choice for a startup business in a market full of demand. - 29970
